Project Focus: CEO Office and Suite Renovation, Greater Toronto Airport Authority Administration Building

Royalty was recently hired by the Greater Toronto Airport Authority (GTAA) to complete a modern renovation of the CEO's office over the summer vacation period. This job was not without its challenges as the timeline was short and the design and details of the renovation were intricate. It can also be difficult to work in the GTAA administration building during operating hours, but the CEO's executive assistant was wonderful to work with in terms of working around the staff and CEO's schedule.

Our fantastic site supervisors Mike Sheridan and Vince Pitocco worked around the clock to get the job done, which included the removal of existing floors, supply and install of new hardwood floors, ceiling grid and tiles installation, and the refinishing of the doors, frames and walls.

Royalty was then hired to complete the full renovation of the CEO suite which included the removal of existing partitions and finishes, and provide new custom built-in veneer millwork in the boardroom, administration area and kitchenette. New lighting and mechanical was installed and structural steel for the large millwork sliding doors were put into place. New carpet, wall finishes and a custom magnetic glass marker board were installed to complete the gorgeous space.
