Royalty General Construction delivered a new loading dock and receiving facility integrated with Air Canada’s existing cargo building and automated cargo handling systems at Toronto Pearson International Airport.
The project involved complex construction and coordination requirements, including interfaces with cold-chain storage areas, rail systems, cargo pits, and unloading operations. Each component required careful planning and collaboration to ensure seamless integration with the existing facility.
Working within an active airport cargo environment, Royalty managed all phases of construction while maintaining continuous cargo operations. Through detailed scheduling, precise coordination, and strict adherence to safety and operational requirements, the team minimized disruption and delivered the project in compliance with Air Canada and airport authority standards.
